Friedlander studied photography at the Art Center College of Desing in Pasadena, California. In 1956, he moved to New York where he photographed jazz musicians for record covers.Lee Friedlander (born July 14, 1934) is an American photographer and artist. In the 1960s and 1970s Friedlander evolved an influential and often imitated visual language of urban "social landscape," with many of his photographs including fragments of store-front reflections, structures framed by fences, posters and street signs.
By combining Victorian sensibilities with a fascination for animal attributes, Dan Hillier has become well-known for black line engravings that embody the steampunk aesthetic. He often depicts realistic poses of late-1800s people who have been altered by having animal elements added. Or perhaps the fantastical hybrids are the exact opposite, animals with the human elements added. here are some of my own versions on Dan Hillier I didn't make it as detail as him because I wanted to make it abit simple and next time to improve I will make it as detailed as him and to make it more my own I will change the colour to make it more different.
Smithsonian museum specialist Sandra Raredon has been making radiographs, or X-ray images, for some 25 years. And although she doesn't necessarily consider herself an artist, per se, she's not surprised to see her work on display in that context. here are some of Sandra J Raredon pictures these are some of my version of her work the last one I changed the colour to make it my own sp its not completely like hers.
Thomas Couderc and Clement Vauchez, better known as Helmo, are the talented graphic design/photography/all-around-creative duo out of France. For this series titled “Bêtes de mode” (Fashion Animals) by Helmo, blue portraits and red animal portraits are superimposed then and displayed in the windows of the Lafayette Galleries on Hausmann Boulevard. Here are some of their work, their work is like double exposure but they blend the animal pictures and turn it red and the portrait they makes it blue and the background is black. I did some of my own versions of Helmo but I kept the colours the same so people know that I tried to do it like Helmo. This is my best version of Helmo because I changed it a bit I used more than one animal but to improve it I could change the colours of it so it doesn't look exactly like Helmo.
We went to Hopwood Hall and we saw loads of animals and we took pictures of them here are some of the pictures I took. We saw a variety of animals there This is one of my best pictures and I like this because it is a close up picture and I edited it a little I didn't edit a lot because I didn't want it to look surreal because I wanted to make it look natural.
Christopher Marley used to be scared of insects and bugs but then he started to use them as inspiration for his art. He creates vibrant pattern and studies them like jewels for their colour and shape. The artist Christopher Marley uses butterflies and bugs to create a image and he uses symmetry too. The artist doesn't always use the same insect and but and he uses different colours too which makes it look even better. I used Christopher Marley's work as inspiration. I used the sea horse because I like the way it looks. The background of the sea horse is flowers because I thought it would look really nice because of the colours of the flowers then I changed the colour of the sea horse I did like a light shade of violet and I flipped it over and made the sea horses face each other then I did the same but I made I go upside down and then I flipped it sideways and changed the colour into a dark shade of blue. Here I got a picture of a cat and I rotated it in a different way and I also changed the colour into a black and orange and a bit of purple. I copied the image and u made it smaller and put it in the middle and made it smaller to crate an affect as if it is going bigger or its going smaller.
This artist gets pictures of animals and crops the picture and out and makes it into a stencil. After that he goes outside and puts his picture up near for example a pile of leaves then takes a picture. His pictures and all nature based. This is effective because its looks really nice and he dose it with different seasons. here are some that I took. I took them outside because it is about animals and they are normally outside in the nature so I thought it would be better there. My favourite one is the cat because I think it is the one that I cut out really nicely the one I could have done better was the giraffe because one leg is bigger than the other one.
